Hello Sir. I'm currently testing my patient for dizziness. His MRI W/O states the following:Findings:
There is mild to moderate generalized cerebral and cerebellar volume loss with commensurate widening of the ventricles, cortical sulci and extra-axial spaces. Midline structures are in normal position without evidence for mass or mass effect. Scattered foci of T2/FLAIR hyperintensity are present in the periventricular and deep white matter bilaterally.
These are nonspecific, but most likely represent chronic small vessel ischemic changes. There is no evidence of acute infarct or hemorrhage. No abnormal intra-or extra-axial fluid collections are seen. The brainstem and posterior fossa structures appear relatively intact and unremarkable. Sinuses, mastoid and orbits are within normal limits.
Impression: Mild to moderate generalized volume loss and small vessel ischemic changes without evidence of acute intracranial abnormality or mass.
