Hello,
The start of my last period was Sept 18 and lasted four days, and my conception date was Oct 6 (I have been using an app to track these, so I'm am positive about the dates). My cycles have been irregular, from 29 to 32 days and averaging 30.4 days. The last cycle before my missed period was actually 34 days (the only time this has happened). I went for my first ultrasound on Nov 17. The technician first used the abdominal ultrasound, but had difficulty seeing the fetus, so then she used a transvaginal ultrasound. My doctor told me that they could not find any cardiac activity, and I may end up miscarrying, or my dates may be off (but again, I recorded the dates in my app, so I know they are not). I am scheduled to go back for another ultrasound on Nov 26 (follow-up with my OB on Nov 27). I have not had any spotting or cramps, and I still have breast tenderness and nausea. I had blood tests and urine tests done on Nov 13 and everything came back normal. Are there any other possibilities other than I might miscarry?? The waiting has been awful. I'm not sure if it matters at all, but I was also diagnosed with mild asthma years ago. I don't take any medication for it and generally it only acts up when I am sick or my allergies are bothering me, but for the past few weeks it has been bothering me quite a bit and causing me to be short of breath and have a dry cough (which sounds quite wimpy). I've used an emergency inhaler a few times and gotten some slight relief, but I'm wondering if this is causing stress to the baby also.
