Hello Doctor, I Am 48yrs Old,5'1,and 65kgs,married With Two Grown

Hello doctor, I am 48yrs old,5'1,and 65kgs,married with two grown up kids.Recently I had a colposcopy biopsy and the result was negative for malignancy. The diagnosis was chronic cervical infection. Was asked to use clingen forte.what is the cause of such infection?moreover I don't have any pain or bleeding. The doctor finds it out during my regular Pap smear test. My cervix also bleeds to touch during the examination. That was why I was asked to do the biopsy. Is there a permanent cure. The condition stresses my out a lot as I being having it for the past 3-4yrs. Two yrs ago I had a big polyp surgically removed from my cervix. What precautions do I need to take to avoid such infection. Should I go for a hysterectomy.
