Hello doctor,
My grandfather aged 78 years done with orchidectomy right side 3 weeks back.which was diagnosed as an obstructive bowel on emergency basis. He was normal with his health previoulsly without hypertension BP etc..During post operative care he has severe pain during passing of urine after the removal of foley's catheter wich was in place for 2 days after the surgery.Doctor prescribed some antibiotic which did not gave him relief.Urologist advised routines, culture and ultrasound and said every thing is fine.bladder is 19 size. Then he prescribed veltam 0.4 which gave relief from pain. But there is mild pain even now during passage of urine.I am thinnking it as an inflammatory process and is as natural as the healing is taking palace....what should i colclude for now
