Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, i noticed a painful lump in my groin on both the left and right sides at about ten year of age even before i started menstruating. It would appear and disappear from time to time. A doctor who examined me physically then said it was hernia. I didnt do anything about it. For some time it stopped bothering me, especially during pregnancy. Recently however, i have started to experience the lump and pain again more frequently on the right side only and it appears during my ovulation. The last time it appeared, i went to see my doctor but it had disappered by the time i got there. It is really painful and i seem to get a tiny bit of relief when i poo. What could it be and why does it appear during ovulation? I would appreciate your advice.
