Hello, im 5 weeks pregnant and i have a light spotting yesterday. i did a trans vaginal sonography and this is the result. let me know if this is something i need to worry about.
1. mean sac diameter: 0.36cm- AOG 5 weeks 2. Cervix: 2.75 cm long and closed 3. Adnexae: The right ovary is lateral to the uterus and measures 2.6x2.6x1.3cm. Normal ovarian echopattern. The left ovary is posterior to the uterus and measures 3.8 x 3.3 x 1.7cm containing a unilocular cystic structure with crenated borders exhibiting no color on color flow mapping measuring 2.3 x 2.1 x 1.1cm, consider a corpus luteum.
Comments: Within the mid endometrial cavity is a gestational sac-like structure with no yolk sac nor embryo seen. There is no subchorionic hemorrage. The posterior myometrium exhibits a coarse echopattern and is thicker than the anterior measuring 1.86cm and 0.75cm, respectively suggestive of posterior wall adenomyosis.
