Hello, My Daughter Is 28 Yrs Old. She Has Been

Hello, my daughter is 28 yrs old. She has been diagnosed with PCOS. We understand that this also makes her insulin resistant. She has not been able to tolerate Metformin. She has had upper abdominal pain and tenderness accompanied by either nausea and/ or dirreah. This has been going on for quite some time intermittently. Two nights ago she awoke with the usual severe upper abdominal pain and had dirreah. She has no appetite and a fever off and on for two days.
We have had her gallbladder, colon and small bowel tested all show negative results. We are not sure where to go from here. With her being insulin resistant could this possibly be her pancreas?
