Hello, My Husband Is Looking For A Blood Pressure Medication
Hello, my husband is looking for a blood pressure medication that is cost effective.
He is already taking Linisporil, atenenol, and doxazosin. It was not bringing down is BP so they added amilodipine. It stabilized his blood pressure BUT his leg is swelling terribly. They did a sonogram on the leg and a stress test and everything is good.
So, they took him off of the amilodipine, BUT the leg is still swollen after being off of the amilodipine for 4 days. They want him to take another BP med but the one they recommended is too expensive bc we don't have insurance. Any suggestions? And, should he be on a diuretic?
