Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello my name is Kenny and I am 37 years old. I have wheezing but no other symptoms with it. I saw a doctor yesterday about this and I left with a prescription for a inhaler, however the pharmacy only had generic inhalers in stock so I took it and it has not made any difference as my wheezing is just as bad as it was yesterday. No sore throat and no cough and I only have wheezing. I have a history of asthma but prior to this I have not used a inhaler in about five years. I am around 40 pounds overweight, a non smoker . I work in a warehouse which this time of year is very cold due only to the outside air. There is a company that is fixing the floor in the warehouse that is using who knows what kind of chemical. My wheezing started about five days ago and this company fixing the floor has been there doing there work since the start of December. My wheezing is very annoying and my question for you is when should I go back to the doctor ??? based on what I have told you , do you think my asthma got triggered by something??? the doctor yesterday did her job and checked me out well but I want this to go away . Thank you very much for your time
