Hello, My Name Is Linda And I've Had Intermittent Upper

Hello, my name is Linda and I've had intermittent upper buttock pain that feels like an electric shock when I stand and walk. This has been infrequent and minimal for several months; however, last night and today the pain intensity and pain frequency has dramatically increased. It does not feel like bone/spine or muscle, as it feels more like nerve pain that feels like an electric shock when I stand up and walk. The location of this pain seems like a rectangle in shape maybe 8" X 2" (8" horizontally and 2" vertically). What do you think? Does it sound more like nerve pain or could it be kidneys or liver?
