Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello my name is bryiah and my best friend was sexually abused by a loved one and the doctors later diagnosed her with type 2 herpes about 2 years ago. She is starting to become more sexually active but she is extra cautious about what she does because she doesńt want to share her disease. Although, she hasńt had an outbreak ever since she was diagnosed with the disease. She also took the medicine when she was diagnosed but didńt continue taking it. We read up on the symptoms of the disease and she says she has none of the symptoms, no bumps, no red or raw areas, no itching or pain. Is it possible that she was wrongly diagnosed ? And should she see a doctor to clarify her disease? Please get back. Thanks !
