Hello, my papillon is vomiting and losing weight. He has gone from 8.3 lbs to 6.6 lbs in a few months. I did switch his food to a softer food but he doesn't touch it much. He will only eat his treats and some chicken. Then he gets sick. I recently brought him to the vet and he is taking an oral medication and I have to put eyedrops, one in each eye, as he has blocked tear ducts. He also has gingivitis but the cost of a cleaning is VERY expensive. I will see what I can do myself first. Any suggestions as to how to get him to keep his food down?
