Hello my sister is experiencing some pain, on her right side around her mid section. she thought she had the shingles, went to her Dr, he said because she didn't have a rash, he didn't think it was the shingles. I realize you are hearing this 3rd hand, her Dr told her to take advil for the pain. Well it has been 7 days and she still has the pain. I asked her if the area is burning & she said no, but it is sensitive to the touch. She says she feels like someone punched her. She is scared & feels that if it is not the shingles then her Dr, should try to find out what it could be. I asked her if she is having any other symptons like a kidney problem. What is your best advice, please. I told her to go back to her Dr & insist he do some exrays or something to try to determine what the problem is. She has not fallen or been in any kind of altercation. please help.
