Hello My Son Seems To Have Fungal Infection On Hid

Hello my son seems to have fungal infection on hid upper body, in particular chest, neck, around the eyes and forehead. Our GP prescribed Lotriderm after consulting a dermatologist over the phone.
We will go to the dermatologist next week, and we were told to use the cream on the affected area until then. However as I read the leaflet, I found out that the cream should not be used around the eyes.
My son has been using the cream following the doctor's advice for 4 days now and his skin is much better.
Should I continue the treatment around his eyes for until the next appointment which is one week away?
He is 13 years old, 173cm tall and 55kg weight. Thank you very much for your answer.
