Hello, so on Wednesday I had a Dr.s appointment with a new suboxone Dr. For my 1st visit I had to pay $250, then each visit after that would be $150. So during my 1st appointment everything went well, but I did realize he never checked my i.d. or didn't copy it for their files. I was given a prescription for suboxone at the end of the appointment and scheduled another appointment for a week later. Now I head to CVS to get my prescription filled, after waiting awhile they called me over and told me that they couldn't fill the suboxone because the Dr. wasn't in the system(or something like that), I was confused and asked if I'd be able to get it filled at another pharmacy, she said I would not be able too. So now I'm pretty mad that I paid $250 to see a Dr and get the help I need and can't get it filled. I leave and immediately call the dr.s office and talk to the secretary, I told her what just happened and wanted an explanation, her answer was to go to another pharmacy because CVS was not in their system(or something like that). The next day I went to another pharmacy and was told they couldn't fill the suboxone because the Dr.s dea# didn't allow him to prescribe suboxone. So now I'm really aggravated and start calling the Dr.s office and of course no one answers.
I would like to be reimbursed my $250 since they couldn't provide the services I went their for.
Can you give me any advice on how resolve this problem. Thanks a bunch
