Hello, this is Laurie Williams. My dermatologist is recommending I use Flourouracil 5% cream for 3 spots on my face and lip to treat pre-cancerous specific spots. I'm glad it isn't big areas but was especially concerned about using it on my lip as the product info that came with the cream notes not to use it in the mouth or ingesting it. Won't it be difficult not to have it migrate to the mouth over a 2 week use period? Licking of lips, etc.? Any other concerns I should be aware of. The doctor seemed rather cavalier about the use of it but the side effects show that it is a serious drug.
