Hepatitis B Carrier. What Medication Should I Complete?
Hi, Sir I am Hepatitis B carrier with Following Test Results, Age:27/Male HBsAG:Positive; HBeAg:Negative HBV DNA(qualitative):Negative ALT( SGPT ):136u/l Total Bilirubin:1mg/dl I want to ask is there any cure so that my HBsAG becomes negative,since I am engineer by profession & getting job in MIddle East is not possble for me due to this medical status.I am very worried and want complete remedy of Hepatitis B as doctors in Pakistan says that it is not possible for me to become HbsAG negative.,,PLz advise

ALT > 60 suggest that you have active disease while your HBeAg is negative. This suggest that you may have infection with precore mutant virus.
You should go for liver biopsy for quantifying the disease activity.
There are multiple good medicines are available and now cheaper also, such as Entecavir, Tenofovir, Tebuvidine.
You should consult with gastro-physician and should take one of these medicines on written prescription.
This will take time for negative of HBsAg.
