Herniated Disk In Lumbar Side,L4-L5. Dr Advised Medication, Rest. Do I Need Surgery ?
I have a disk herniated in my lumbar side,L4-L5,the doctor said that I do not need surgery , just he gave me some medication and some rest, but not too long, then he said I can get back to my work activity! I mention that I had a surgery 2 years in the same place, feeling fine for 2 years, then some pain started again! What is your opinion???
You know this is body natural tandancy to grow/ regrow which is very good and protective but sometimes it couses problems like this one,If once operated for disc some tissues grow there called fibrosis this can couse pain due to its adhesions to nerve sheath or compresing the nerve sheath, this can be managed with /without surgery depending your symptom, your physiological status and neurosurgeon preference.
