Hi - My Daughter Has Idiopathic Scoliosis And Was Diagnosed

Hi - my daughter has idiopathic scoliosis and was diagnosed at 16 and is now 31. She recently had a MRI scan as she is being considered for a new type of operation to correct the curve, called VBT. However, the scan has revealed a shadow on her T3 vertebrae. She's been asked to have another MRI scan. Have you any idea what the shadow could be? Obviously this is a huge additional worry.
