Hi Andrew, I am a 78 yr. old F with recent attack (6/12 ago) AF (1st - reversed itself- none since), have moderate OA and moderate Diabetes type 11. Take Clinoril, St. John's Wort (mild depression) , Ginko Biloba (tinnitus). Took Xarelto for short time - severe joint pain. Have now been prescribed Apixaban. Seems to me side effects similar to Xarelto. Is the "cure" likely to be worse than the disease? I am active and consider myself fit for my years.
