Hi Doc, I suffer from super high blood pressure and take about 6 pills to control and after two years have gone from 190+ over 140+ to recently 119/60. I take Losartan, carvedilol, amlodipine, chlorthalidone, furosemide, also multi vitamin, potassium chloride, low dose Bayer. I also have suffered from gout. so also take daily allopurinol colcrys and indomethacin. This combination seems to keep attacks at bay but still may be part of my problem. The latest is I have Diabetes type two and have been taking Metformin HCL ER 500 mg. So hear is the issue. My 13 day pill a day routine seems to be working well. However I have been experiencing an increased mount of foot swelling, redness, tingling, numbness. Some days it feels like my feet are on fire and have been trying everything. Daily lotion, gold bond foot cream, Icy hot. Latest is all natural Ultimate Healing cream with coconut oil based samples from tropiceel.com and my purchase of the Revitive eletro therapy machine. Suppose to improve circulation by 30 minutes of electric impulses to increase circulation. All seem to help a little and have seen some improvement. I know I have poor circulation in the feet and seems to be the some of the crystallization I'm the feet that I have experienced with the gout and redness reflects that in areas especially on the top portion and sides of my feet. However although seems like part of a gout attack it is not the attack of the toe and joints I have experienced in the past or is a combination of the recent diabetes diagnosis which I have read can be a result of Diabetes type two.
I have made strides to improve my health at age 52 now and accepting all the meds I'm taking daily. As a person that is a cigarette smoker and daily beer drinker. With a diet that is average and tries to avoid the triggers and food associated with the gout, diabetes, high blood pressure. Being at 315 lbs and about 6 feet. Also, my exercise is minimal. I know all are contributors to my condition.
I want to thank you for taking the time in reviewing my issues. I would greatly appreciate any feedback, suggestions or treatments you can suggest. It is a great pleasure to have someone with 48 years experience advise, provide experience and provide your feed back.
I look forward to your response.
All the Best,
Bob Stevenson
