Hi Doctor,

I am diagnosed with Latent TB and there was a wound on right ear which didn't heal for almost an year.
Later doctor said it is because of Latent TB so they have prescribed me to take TB medicines for 8 months.Now it's 3 months over and i have started AKT3 from 3 days.when i was about to start TB medicine i had a swelling on the neck and shoulder joint ,later which in CT scan it was said that it was lymph node swelling and wall has thickened.The lymph node swelling became hard after 2 months and then like puss bubble and Now from 15 days that lymph node swelling got ruptured and some fluid like and little puss is coming out of the wound and it is not healing or stopping too,even it's paining a lot . In CT Scan it was said that few lymph nodes have swollen in the other side of the neck and in armpits also.But i could not feel the lump or swelling in other parts except in the neck that got ruptured now.Recently from a week i can feel swelling in left armpit and it's pain a lot.Could you please let me know if TB medication is enough to heal this lymph node swelling?at initial stage of swelling can it be reduced with any other antibiotics along with TB medicine ? is this related to lymph node TB ?FNAC test is done on neck lump but no TB was diagnosed in the Report.A doctor has suggested me to go for an operation near the neck lump ,which they cut and take the puss out from the swollen part but some have suggested me not to go for operation as it will heal on it own during the TB medication tenure.Could you please give me some insight what needs to be done and the reason for these swelling ?
