Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi Doctor, one week ago I had surgery to unflip and reposition my stomach. In addition I had my heaters hernia repaired. The flipped stomach was from a major auto accident in 1989. Over the years always thought my delicate stomach was because of the hernia. Since July 2015 my discomfort after eating even small portions became chronic and the only form of relief was to vomit which I was doing an average of every two days several times a day/night. After consulting with my doctor(s) decision was to operate ASAP. Had surgery on Oct 27 and now one week later I am still hiccuping, sometimes violently especially after eating.
Any advice as my surgeon is away until Nov 22!
