Hi Dr Andrew: A Family Member Had Medication Changes In

Hi Dr Andrew:
A family member had medication changes in Nov 2015 -Furosemide was changed from 20mg to 40mg and Hydromorhone was changed from a 1mg dosage 2x daily to 1mg 4x daily.
She has to void now every 10 minutes and has had an increase in water retention from her knees down.
She also has a tumour growing below her ear which is not cancerous. As hydromorphone is an opioid should I be worried that this family member will ask for an increase in the pain medication. If the Dr again increases the furosemide and hydromorphone will this not make her voiding difficulty and water retention problems worse. Please advise. . . .Thank you, Dr Rynne.
