Hi Dr. I Have Been Having A Strange Pain In

Hi Dr. I have been having a strange pain in my throat for about one week. It hurts when I swallow, but not like the normal pain when one has a typical sore throat. The pain stays confined to the right side of my throat, as if there is something on the exterior of my esophagus. It creates a shooting sensation that runs up through the right side of my face, creating a headache sensation and ear pain as well. Again, all of this pain stays on the right side of my head only. Could this be allergy related or a tumor?
