I have pain in my ears. The ENT sys nothing wrong with my ears, but I have to get this sorted out. It is worse when I lie down at night. Its a deep underlying pain. My ears are also singing all day. It doesn't get worse or go away. Its been going on for a few years now. I feels as if there is something in head. I once used antibiotics which cased my face to swole up like a balloon. I immediately stopped. I used it for "acne like" rash on my nose area only. It is still there...I keep it at bay with Quadriderm. I also had 5 tooth implants in my upper jaw. Before I had that I had infection in my teeth caused by a leaking tooth bridge. It sometimes feel as if the implants have closed up the infection inside and it cannot get out. The dr. says the implants are fine. All I know is that the constant pain deep in my ears or sinuses or head is slowly killing me. I want to put a screwdriver right through the one ear and out the other side just to open up to get rid of the full and bursting feeling inside. The ENT says there isn't enough pressure in my ears o get grommets. But he can give me an earpiece if I want something from him as I am loosing hearing in one ear.. and it is the ear that aches the most... I just said I would rather postpone that, as it would feel as if I am closing the problem up even further. I have not experienced that I now drastically need an earpiece. I think its because I went back to him with the same problem. My question is... which Dr should I go see now? which type of specialist? Maybe a neurologist?
