Hi, During home renovations I stepped on a small piece of ceramic tile. The piece of ceramic was stuck in my foot, and after a day I went to see a doctor. They then did an X ray and found nothing, after that they sent me to get an ultrasound where they did end up finding the piece of ceramic. The piece of ceramic is just 1 mm, but is still causing a great deal of pain. After the ultrasound I went to a hospital where they attempted to remove the glass, but unfortunately were not able to do so. The doctors told me if I just leave the piece of ceramic my body will hopefully push it out, or it should blister. That was 2 days ago, it hurts every time I walk on my foot still, or apply any pressure to the area of the wound but I am wondering how long the body takes to push something out of the foot, or blister? Also will stepping on my foot accidentally push the ceramic further?
