For the past week I have had an odd bitter taste in my mouth . After looking in the mirror I found large lumps at back of my tongue which I think are my taste buds. I am concerned about my breath smelling as I have this odd taste. I have been taking erythromycin for about a year for acne . I also take acyclovir one a day to prevent cold sores. Nothing new that I am taking. I smoke but have find for a couple of years and never had this before. I also had a spicy meal last weekend with chilli flakes and hot fresh chill is but I have never had an issue before with my tongue from this. I rang the doctor and she said to use corsodyl mouthwash . It is not getting any better and I am feeling quite stressed about this. Please could you give me any information on how to get rid of this as the taste is driving me mad. I not in any pain or discomfort though
