Hi I am 23 years old I have not used birth control in several years (I had to because I had my period for 6 months straight my freshman year of highschool). I ususally get my period every 21-28 days (lately 21 days for about 3 months but it will go back and fourth). I am sexually active with my boyfriend, who I live with and we do not use a condom but he does not finish inside of me ever. However, i took a laxative 4 nights ago and it didn't work and then I got my period 3 days ago and I took another laxative 2 nights ago (still didn't work) but the entire time I have had my period it has not nearly been as heavy as any other time. I have a heavy 1-3 day period then light for a day. This time it is so light I basically don't even need a tampon and I could wear a super for 6-8 hours and its maybe half covered. This is something I have not experienced in years. I don't know if it is from the laxative or I am scared I am pregnant and it is spotting. But I thought spotting wasn't more than 2 days. I am very nervous and stressing myself out. I haven't gone to the bathroom in several days now and do not know what to do. Should I be worried I am pregnant?
