Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. I am 33 weeks pregnant with mono-di twin boys (one placenta, 2 sacs). I went to my dr office because one of my boys had decreased movement for the past three days. The dr was out of town and the nurses and nurse practitioner were not sure what was going on. They did a nst nonstress test and both babies seemed fine. Their hearts were beating normal. On the sono the decreased movement one was not practicing his breathing while the other one was. I had the steriod shots 2 weeks ago. The tech was worried about the non practice breathing and how both babies were not moving much. Is it normal for babies in the womb to stop practicing their breathing? The office staff was not sure what to do with me so they sent me home. Thanks, Amber
