Hi, I am 39 years old, and I am 15 weeks post c-section. I am on Ramipril and Amlodipine for my hypertension, which was diagnosed 3 years ago. After c-section I was very swollen, but doctors told me is normal. Now I still have a pitting oedema in both legs, limbs, ankles and feet. I am getting occasionally chest pain. Always in different location, today just behind left collar bone. I attended to A&E with prolonged menstruation, and because I had a tachycardia, docs did ecg. Normally I dont get tachycardia, only when I am upset (white coat syndrome). Outcome was "Sinus tachycardia, consider LVH". So I am freaking out, I have a heart failure. They also found low potassium- 3 and put me on replacement. I had a fluttering and palpitations, but they gone since i am on potassium tablets. I went to my GP, and asked him to repeat my ecg, and he did. This time different machine, interpretation done by person. She said I have a tachycardia, and asked me if im anxious, yest I was. And she tolde me, ecg its normal. I don't know what to think about it. I am crying and freaking out, that I have a heart failure, and will not see my son growing. My potassium is normal now, kidneys and liver normal, full blood count also. Just waiting for thyroid functions to come back. Should I be worry about it? Why there would be discrepancies in ecg's? I cant understand. I am overweight, I am walking and pushing pram about 2 hrs per day, up to 4 hrs. I can walk 30 mins without stopping. My feet are tingling me, and they are painful sometimes. Will be grateful for some suggestions. Thank you.
