Hi I am a 73 yo female. I am conflicted about whether to take 10 mg Crestor.
I have recently been prescribed Atacand for a systolic BP average of 145. Diastolic is fine.
My recent blood test results shoe total cholesterol of 5.7. Trig 0.7
HDL 2.22, LDL 3.2. LDLC/HDLC 1.4
ChoL/HDLC 2.6
Glucose 5.8

Mother died age 79 massive cerebral haemorrhage
Dad died age 83 heart disease after a few episodes over 30 yrs

Your opinion would be appreciated. Ps I weigh 78 kg and am 160 cm
