Hi. I am a healthy 63 year old female whose only medication is synthroid. I was told last week I have stage 1 CKD but have no risk factors. No hypertension or diabetes. How can this be? I remember I had nephritis as a child but that was successfully treated with antibiotics and no further problems noted. Could this be the cause now? Could that have damaged my kidneys? I am trying to understand this as I have been otherwise so very healthy. Thank you
