Hi I Am An American 58 And About To Return

Hi I am an American 58 and about to return to the us tonite from Goa India. I had a sudden onset of nausea and then a lot of diarrhea. It's either travelers d or food poisoning. I got an I've drip at hospital yesterday and lots of prescriptions. On den, (nausea) eldopen (like immodium ) took 2 at once and also zanocin oz. I am a sensitive type, I question the need for the antibiotic and I feel i could have taken less eldper. Now I can not go to the bathroom and it has been about 30 hours. What if I stop the antibiotic (only 2 taken in last 24 hours) I fear side effects to do the whole round and some outside India do not think its a good idea. Opinions? Ps already know about hydration s and probiotics.
