Hi, I am concerned about my father. He is addicted to methamphetamine. We have had several conversations about this problem of his. From what I have gathered out of our conversations is that he only does it for the effects the drug gives him. He says that when he doesn't have the drug that he is always fatigue and doesn't have the energy or drive to do the daily things he needs to do. Is there any kind of drug that a doctor could give him that has the same effects that meth gives. What do you suggest I need to do? He wants to quit and have life back to normal. Normal as being not dependent for meth to receive the energy and want for getting the daily things he needs to complete. Please help!!
