Hi, I am currently taking care of a patient who is on hospice care. I was under the impression for all intent and purposes that he was dying. His family signed a DNR. He currently is not being fed because the family believes he is dying. Today out of the clear blue he opened his eyes and asked for water. We asked him to squeeze are hand and he did. I don't know what to make of this
