Hi, I care give for my father in law who is a vet and has stage 3-4 Parkinson's. Friday, he slept 20 hrs, not wanting to get up;Saturday, he was up ate, drank 3-5 glasses of fliud, normal day. Sunday, he slept again for about 14-18 hrs. He has been treated for a U T I twice in the last 3 weeks. He is totally bladder incontinent but not bowel incontinent. Monday, when I got him up at &am, he was lethargic, the bed was soaked through the brief and bed pads, and it was VERY strong ammonia smell. The home nurse ordered a urine sample which of course(HELLO) we can't get from him. I think he needs to be admitted to the hospital with IV antibiotics, but Im getting ignored. He has a history of kidney stones and MRSA. Any Suggestions??
