Hi, I Got My Period 7 Days Late After Experiencing

Hi, I got my period 7 days late after experiencing pregnancy symptoms and a negative pregnancy test result, what could be wrong? I'm never late and I already have 5 kids, I suspected that I might be pregnant because I felt different very early. I never have cramps since I've had my kids and with this late cycle my stomach feels like I'm having Braxton Hicks and not menstrual cramps. Please help!
