Hi, I got the depo shot November 8th, 2016. I had my first baby Oct. 10, 2016. During my pregnancy I was depressed. I had to go off all of my medications and I spoke with the Dr. And he put me on an anti depressant while I was pregnant and it only made it worse. So I stoped taking it and dealt with it. Before the pregnancy I was on Prozac, welbutrin xl, valium, and seroquil for my bipolar, depression, anxiety, and borderline personality disorder. After I had my daughter he said I had the "baby blues" and let him know If it got worst. If it did he said I might have post partum depression. Well it got worse and I told him and nothing was done about it. Anyways, I brought up with my doctor that when I was younger I use to be on the pill and had to stop taking it cause it made me go completely nuts. (Mood swings like crazy, depression to the point of having bad thoughts and being very angry and irritable to the point of lashing out on anyone who was near) I asked the Dr. Before I got the shot if There was any side effects besides weight gain that would cause the problems I already have to get worse and he said no. Well, a week ago I have to go to the hospital because my head went completely numb. So did my left arm. I had blurry vision and was dizzy and light headed. I didn't feel right. Told the emergency room doctor I got the shot on the 8th and he said that if it was the shot causing the symptoms that it would have happens sooner. So after waiting 4 hours in the E.R. the doctor tells me I'm just stressed out.. I have been on my period pushing a little over 3 weeks now. I'm angry, depressed, mood swings constantly, irritable, upset all the time, nauseous and my stomach burns, head hurts here and there , anxiety all the time, feel really hot occasionally, I get shakey, I my body hurts a lot and I feel worn out and tired. I'm supposed to get my next shot in January, don't think I will though and I can't see my psychiatrist til February or March. Is the shot causing these horrible symptoms I'm having and if so how can I stop the shot from working or get it out of my system before I have a complete breakdown.
Thank you for your time.
