Hi! I Had 15 Feet Of My Small Intestine Removed

Hi! I had 15 feet of my small intestine removed 3 months ago and am recovering quite nicely. I lost a lot of weight and have put some back on, my question is whether I can gain a lot of weight if I don't watch what I eat. I pass gas all the time, have normal IBM's as well as diahrrea and feel very bloated. My liver enzymes are high and although I drink lots of water I worry I could be dehydrated. I see my doctor on the 24 the but am quite nervous as they had to find 5 feet to save. This after an intessception in 1947, then a perforated bowel, ovarian cancer and at least 15 bowel obstructions in 2 years.
