Hi ! I Had A Cold Of The Xmas Period

Hi ! I had a cold of the Xmas period and managed to budge it however I have since had a stuffy nose but when I blow my nose nothing comes out at first but I still struggle to breath so I blow my nose a little harder and a ball of phlegm and gunk and blood comes out of my nose ? Why is this and how do I stop it ????
