Hi, I had a fever for 4 days with body aches and a little bit of coughing and a little sore throat. After seeing a dr. yesterday it was determined that it was not strep throat. It was also not certain if it was the flu or bronchitis so I just started azithromycin last night and today my throat really hurts and there is a flat white spot on the back of my throat (not on or near my tonsil). And it looks like the back of my throat made a little fold or crease near the white spot. And the whole back of the throat is red. What could this be?
