Hi, I Had An Emergency Appendectomy In December. About Two

Hi, I had an emergency appendectomy in December. About two months after, I got a sharp pain in my right groin area when I turn my foot sharply inwards or outwards. Had x-ray, no arthritis, had 2 months of physical therapy to no avail. Had an MRI, hips look good. Saw an orthopedic doc last month who diagnosed it as a pulled groin muscle. I did not do any strenuous activity to cause a pull. 5 months have gone by and the pain has not subsided. Any ideas would be most welcome! Thanks
