Hi I have a concern about sleeping and acid reflux. I actually have nights were I have just falling asleep and I actually throw up or regurgitate what is in my stomach. I take prescription Prilosec and it still happens. I also regularly have difficulty swallowing food without it lodging in my esophagus. Usually if I have water I can take a large drink or a few large drinks and have the food travel through the esophageal tract. However it can be painful. I am not obese, I don't eat fast and I chew my food. Is there a relation between the two conditions?
