Hi, I Have A Ventrical Septal Defect And While Performing

Hi, I have a ventrical septal defect and while performing exercise I am feeling twinge in my chest and it is really uncomfortable and I immediately start panicing and it only gets worse. Do you think I should completely quit playing sports or just don't exercise as often as I'm exercising now? Thank You.
