Hi I have been experiencing rectal discomfort for a few days. My stool movement felt restricted as if the anal passageway had narrowed. I felt burning after passing stool and Also noticed excessive mucus on stool. The doctor said I had large intestinal Infection so he prescribed me ciprofloxacin for 5 days. Having completed the course, I haven't recovered my normal Bowel habits. There is still mucus flowing from anus and I feel throbbing pain after passing stool. I feel it's something else. Please note I haven't experienced any diarrhea or cramps or Abdominal pain. Rectal pain and discomfort is deeply affecting by mood and lifestyle .
