Hi I have been having problems with my hands or soft tissues or joints swelling or can i say blowing up to the point where the first day it is so painful no painful no pain med will help. the only thing that i can do is put that area on ice. or splint it.Also if i take a shower if the hot water gets on the area it feels like it is a burn. I was told that i had gouty arthritis and was on allopurinol and colchicine which i have since stopped b/c i would still have major blow ups.My MD has taken my uric acid levels and they are always nml. also i have sarcoid and wonder if possibly that could have some reason for these episodes.What do you think?
