Hi, I Have Been Informed I Have A Checkrein Deformity

Hi, I have been informed I have a checkrein deformity in my right foot following a serious RTA in 1992 and tendon surgery 3 years ago. I have been told that a release/tenotomy of the TL on the medial side and a release/tenotomy of the 3rd/4th and 5th toes and PIP joint fusion with k wires is required. What I ask is re there any other options and what is the success rate of this type of surgery. I'm a 46yr old male that wants to keep his mobility as long as possible, cheers.
