Hi
I have been suffering from the skin condition called keratosis pilaris on my arms ,thighs and back for past few years now. I understand that it cannot be completly cured but can be controlled. i have struggled for years to find a good moisturiser that would suit my skin type and now im using amlactin with 12% lactic acid twice a day and it works for my skin better than all other moisturisers that i have used till date. but the scars that are left behind by years of struggling with kp are pretty bad . kindly suggest what i should do to lessen these scars .also , is kp in anyway related to food, because i have noticed that the bumps flares up the next day after i consume egg or chicken. another concern is about hair removal , what hair removal method should i do , the dermatologist suggested me not to wax or epilate as I have KP , rather use any hair removal cream .
