Hi, I have been suffering with extremely heavy, long period that go on for weeks with only a week or so break. I have lots of Clots many of them the size of the palm of my hand. These clots push through super plus tampax and I have to use Intontinance pads because it comes right through to my clothes. I have been feeling dreadful and have just had my bloods done and the results are HB 87 / Platelets 307 and WBC 6.3. I have been started on ferrous sulphate but am still feeling very low and still have many of the symptoms of severe anaemia. Could you please comment on the blood result, how long I will feel to unwell to go to work and what the underlying problem may be? Also I was told I had a small fibroid 2 and a half yrs ago.
